.htaccess - Joomla to Wordpress URL Redirects - Taxonomy & 301

    I need some help writing an .htaccess file after rebuilding a site in Wordpress from a Joomla site. Here are a few things I am dealing with;

    -Same URL
    -The URL structure of the new site does not have a fixed pattern.
    -The trailing keyword in the URL is the same on both sites
    -The site has thousands of pages
