htaccess in cpanel

    Hi, how can i view htaccess in cpanel? I know you could display hidden files on that popup, but ive set it to not to display when i view my files. How i can see hidden files??? Thanks.

    Checking the box so that you can view hidden files is probably your best bet, but I admittedly don't work with cPanel directly much for file management. I far prefer using an ftp program like FileZilla (which is free) for file management purposes.

    If you're going to be spending a lot of time on file management, I would suggest you give ftp a try because it is faster and (in my opinion) easier. You can also edit directly through FileZilla by designating a text editor, to open your server files for viewing/editing. Though I have dreamweaver, I usually use AlleyCode (another freebie) for quick code edits via ftp simply because it loads faster yet retains helpful code formatting colors/layouts.

    In the file manager you have to choose the option show hidden files it pretty much works that way
