.htaccess - image redirect

    lately my memory usage is getting too high

    i'm just wondering if i have a image say www.mysite.com/img.jpg and i want to redirect to external site using

    and my question here is
    -will it still use up mysite.com BW ?
    -will my memory usage become less ?

    Depends how you do the redirect. It is possible to redirect the client to the new page. If you do it that way then your bandwidth consumption will be less.

    i'm going to redirect my images using this line to save some memory usage ...
    and other better way ?
