    Hi,

I really new to .htaccess and I have 1 domain and 2 subdomains on the same server. Originally all 3 were in subdirectories and they all pointed to their own domain. Now that I moved all the files in one directory to the root directory and did a redirect for old file found by visitors, the other 2 domains now also point to the one in the root directory. I have tried many different combinations of redirect but nothing I do makes the other 2 bring in their own domain. I have no idea how I can get this to work the way it should allowing all 3 domains to bring in their own pages. And all the searches has not helped either. I really need some assistance.

    Thanks,
    modine

To allow one set of files to act like three different domains, you would need to do some hacking in the site code to pull out the domain being accessed. From that you could display the appropriate information or switch to the proper template directory to get a different look.

Why consolidate the directories? Perhaps with the background info we can come up with something.
