.htaccess 301 redirect pagination

    I got thousands duplicated meta descriptions on Google webmaster, and I have completely removed the page pagination functionality weeks ago, but still got indexed.


    How to 301 redirect all the
    www.website.com/80s-snacks?page=11&q=80s-snacks
    to
    www.website.com/80s-snacks

    www.website.com/cute-rainbow?page=22&q=cute-rainbow
    to
    www.website.com/cute-rainbow

    It can take months before the urls disappear from the index (I assume you can see that they are indexed by doing a "site:" search)
