.htaccess 301 and 302 redirects - What is the difference?

    Can someone please explain to me what the difference is between 301 and 302 redirects are in .htaccess file, like maybe providing an example of each? I need to make sure I'm not doing any 302 redirects as permanent redirects. :eek:
