.htacces index problem help

    Hello actualy in my www/ directory i have this .htacces

    # Set the default handler to index.php:
    DirectoryIndex home.php

    but i want this to be valid only on www/ directory my problem is that every other directory on the server uses home.php insted of index.php
    is there away to make that .htacces valid only for www/ directory'??

    Put the .htaccess file every subfolders.
