HSBC Bank?

    I am planning to open an current account with HSBC Bank for fast wire transfers from our overseas clients, does anyone know how it works in India?

    I mean, they said it takes around 12hrs. to arrive funds into HSBC bank account through wire transfer, is that correct? As my current bank takes 2 - 3 working days to credit it.

    I would expect 2-3 days. I don't think it depends on the particular bank

    HSBC is a bank of international repute and so if they say so, they should be able to deliver it... but considering the regulatory process involved in each transfer, I wonder how they would be able to complete it in flat 12 hours! :confused:

    HSBC gets higher rate of interest for their credit cards and high penalty if you miss one.Other than that its a good reputed bank.
