Href variation - really good?

    There was a SEO expert on a swedish SEO forum that told to variate the href text so google think it's natural.. do anyone here have some good experiencis with this?

    Well it means that you don't use a single href text when building backlinks, but different. Instead of using "Pretty Myspace Layouts" in all my thousand backlinks that I'm going to create, I use "Myspace layouts" in some, "pretty myspace layout", "http://pretty-myspace-layouts.org/" in another and so on. You get the idea.

    I ran some limited testing for this and could not see an improvement from using varied link text.

    I do use varied link text when my chosen keyword pegs at #1. :D

    I use varied anchor texts for my backlinks. When I was first learning SEO, several of the "SEO Gurus" indicated that this was the way to go.

    I almost always vary the anchor in order to simulate a natural link acquisition. Better safe than sorry IMHO.
