I have seen quite a few blogger blogs having a digg & other such sites buttons at the end of every post , wonder how to have it in the new blogger.
Sorry, i didn't saw you said "blogger". They have digg button but are you sure that they have the new blogger style and not the classic one? If you switch to classic style you can use the code from http://digg.com/tools/integrate#2 i guess.
thanks but was looking for blogger , and found it here DIGG BUTTON FOR EACH POST To enable viewers to submit your post to Digg provide a button link below your posts. First right click the above button and save it to your hard disk. Then upload the button to a freehost like Googlepages. Copy down its link. Then login to Blogger Dashboard and click on Layouts for your blog. This will take you to Page Elements tab. Click on Edit Html tab next to it and first download your template to PC using Download Full Template link. Then put a check in Expand Widgets Template radio box at top of template box. Scroll down in Edit Template text box until you come to this line in the Blog Posts widget : <p class='post-footer-line post-footer-line-3'> Copy and paste the following code after the above line : <a expr:href='"http://digg.com/submit?phase=3&url=" + dataost.url' target='_blank'><img alt='DiggIt!' src='URL OF DIGG BUTTON AT FREE HOST'/></a> In the above code replace the "&" character with "& a m p ;" without the spaces to make it XHTML compatible. Save Template.
You don't want to place the Digg button after each post. I'd use a plugin that lets you put the button in posts that have many Diggs. Sites with the Digg button with 0 or 1 diggs just look amateurish and unpopular. It turns people off. Wait until you have an article that becomes popular and add the button to it afterwards.
