I am struggling to get my affiliate sales up and going, so I am tossing around some different ideas. One that came to mind today, was to create a storefront of affiliate links. For example, I would create a category, say air fresheners, then below it, I would have 3-5 different affiliate test links for each variety. The next headline could be windchimes, with the appropriate links underneath it. This would provide a single page of links to a variety of products, from a variety of affiliates. Plus, the people who went to the "store" already know why they are going...to purchase something. Any thoughts?
Sounds like a loaded question! I guess it depends on the format. If it's setup properly, people wont care that it's an affiliate. If I am looking for the aforementioned windchimes, and the link takes me to a confidence inspiring webpage that sellss them, what would I care that its an affiliate?
If I understand your idea, you wanna build online shop with affiliate products. How will you get traffic?
I'll get traffic through normal routes. I don't think it will be that hard to setup, but getting results may be.
But how will the visitors know there are other cashiers around ? I mean a visitor doesn't know if it is an affiliate link or website owners link.. Am I missing something. ~G
I keep getting questions for answers! I understand your point, but I am not sure that most people will recognize that there are multiple affiliates involved. Using the windchimes example, I wouldn't use multiple companies for one product, only one. The additional companies would be my links for yoga mats or tennis tables, etc....
