Who is right Adwords or CB? I think I might have of found at least one of the reasons why my PPC campaigns are not converting (have made a few conversions with articles) It's a bit long but please read through... As we all know last Wednesday CB did their famous update and later that same day they had some outage.. Seems as their planned maintenance did not go so according to plan. Ever since that day I've had problems converting with PPC.. it was really doing my head in.. lots of post here with people having similar issue since the CB update though other people say they saw nothing different. Anyhow after almost breaking down to tears as I still have not converted via PPC since then I started looking into my stats a bit further. And what do you know. Adwords and CB do not match. They usually never (about 5% - 10%) difference but this is insane... Ever since thursday Adwords and CB are off almost by 100%. Todays adwords stat mention 30 something clicks but CB says over 70 hops. And yes I only promote this traffic via PPC. Who's correct? How do I know if it's not some sort of click bombing? Some sort of bot creating false clicks? Maybe adwords detected only part of the fake clicks but has let a good number by... What's the best way to go forward now? Stopping the campaing and re-starting in a weeks time (assuming it's some sort of fake clicks after me) ? Any suggestions???
