Just want to know to what length I should go to get a 'Great' QS. At the moment I have Good without having ultra specific page content (don't have the exact same keywords on the page). So now I'm going to take advantage of dynamic keyword insertion, and use the dynamic keyword on my LP. Here's what I have so far: - Dynamic Keyword in Page Title - Dynamic Keyword as <h1> on page, and inserted twice in the first paragraph. - 1 Ad Group Per Keyword - Dynamic Keyword in Ad Headline So my main concern is whether one paragraph should be sufficient, or is not worth going to the effort if it isn't going to effect it hardly?
if you put dynamic content, wil not that change your QS also? it will be good if your score increases tho, let us know how it works
Well I assume putting dynamic content on the LP will help the QS - I'm just wondering whether a <h1> and the keyword inserted a couple times in a paragraph is enough to make a difference.
DKI in your ad doesn't help your quailty score in itself - the default word is what it gets based on - it might improve it indirectly if it gets a higher ctr.
Yeah I understand that, but thanks. It's not really an option of manual ads since I've got thousands of keywords.
DKI in your ad DOES help quality score when they check it at the keyword level. (It's checked can computed more then once, ever wonder why bids go from $0.50 to $1.20 to $5?) One thing you're missing is the "landing site" aspect. You must have content on the domain where you're putting your landing pages.
Thanks for your input. What do you mean exactly by checked at the keyword level? Also, I do have lots of unique content on the site. For the products I'm promoting - I have reviews for each one, but just not on the LP itself (the LP links to the individual reviews). Since I've got thousands of keyword permutations I can't guarantee that they will all be in the reviews so I figured I'd just put a brief paragraph on the LP. What would you suggest?
Google cover this on this page: http://adwords.google.com/support/b...amic+keyword+insertion&topic=&type=f&onClick= As I understand it, they don't reward you for having the exact keyword in the title, but you'll probably get a better clickthrough rate, and improve your Quality Score that way...
