What do you think of my Banner logo that I came up with for my Bingo Numbers site?

Hard to read and too clustered together :|. Would look better if you replace the strokes with black or just remove them all together.

 

What do you mean the "strokes"? I too thought it was a bit to compact.

The outlines of the text.

 

I prefer your second logo design.. the first one had bad alignment on the right side of the logo. For your second version, try using a dropshadow that is less harsh and that's closer to the back text (minimize the dropshadow's distance)

 

in my opinion second option is better than the first one

 

i love the design for 2nd logo too. The 1st logo look to familiar with other regular design..not too unique for me..

 

The second one is much better. The fit one doesn't really look like a logo.

 

that second logo does look like an american tv news channel

but it looks miles better than the first one.

the first logo is bad because of the blue writing on blue background.

change the background to something else

 

Its hard to read, and a little weird.. Make it simple, but unique!

try changing the BINGO to #6699FF as the logo begs for more contrast

I'm not digging either one. Logo are symbols that we internalize with values and emotions. You want to give an imagine that the eye can scan and easily id. In other words, if you eye has to do a lot of movement, and take time to understand whats going on, you have lost. with the second logo, the eye goes to the N and stays there.

another test is ask yourself how it would look on a business card or on a flyer. If you can look at the card/flyer in .3 seconds and id the logo, then you got something.

btw, there are many things about what a bad logo is, but a great logo is a matter of opinion

 

Your second one is better, but I still find it a bit disorientating and confusing.

Thanks for the good tip icnaxx, I suppose these are more banners than logos. My GG logo, I would say is more of a logo I suppose
