How's buy.com affiliate?

    buy.com affiliate program is thru CJ, but how good this program is? Anyone has success with them or any experience?

    Depend on what products you promote. I tried digital cameras and laptops with no success.

    mikyur, looking at (BANS ?) store you have in sig I can surely say that you have 0 success with it now too. Nothing more than doorway atm...

    I have several Buy.com links on my sites that I generate from PopShops. It is better than Amazon, but not a lot. I had some success at Christmas, but now it is mostly DVDs and books.

    To me, Buy.com is very electronics based. I am not a techie, so I have never really built any sites around the electronics categories.

    Buy.com doesn't try to keep the traffic directed to them. They have sponsored links and ad banners to other places you don't get credit for if a visitor buy elsewhere instead. Because of this, I don't use them. But has anyone had good success? I'd love to be proven wrong.

    I have some Buy.coms ads, i get many clicks and some sales but never had a laptop or big item sales :(

    Buy.com commission rate is low, as are most electronics affiliate programs. Almost not worth the effort.

    If they have ads and other crap on the site, then affiliate marketing rule #1 says not to send any traffic to them.
