Nice layout, maybe show more posts on the homepage? Also you may keep readers interested by including relevant images within posts, as right now it is just plain text. (Not that content isn't important) Having just looked at the register section, you haven't stated what the purpose of registration is for, I can see registration is not essential for commenting so as a first time visitor I can't see what the aim of registering is.
