Howmuch worth 11 year domain?

I was just been at one auction and final price was 1550$,and since i didnt have idea why that domain somuch worht i take a look at age date and it's old 11 years.So does realy 11 year domain worth somuch or there is other reason why it got so big price?

 

First of all what is the domain name ? Before seeing domain name its impossible to tell its value. You can post your domain in appraisal section.

 

I don't think it's just because of the age though it's one of the factors.

 

Age is obviously important but which is worth more:

5 year old domain - cheapmortgages.com
11 year old domain - aqdsgaiqsjaisudvhaiduyvhbwairhf.com

There are so many factors to it. From what you provided, there is no answer.

 

Year registered does not mean that much, it also needs a history in Google and some quality old links to really be worth much.

 

Wow on auction now is 2000$ for domain. Domain name is bobbin.com

 

For 10 years domain $1500-$2000 really not big price depending all other factors of course.

 

I think that could fetch a lot more - the name is easy to remember too, and google just loooves old domains

 

Btw howmuch worth 8 year old domain?

- age
- PR
- quality of links
- brandable name
- niche
- etc..

Snapnames.com.I was bidding only 60$.And also what is funny that was expired domain.If previous owner found out for howmuch dollars is domain sold,i think he gonna kill himself hehe
