How'd they do that?

I can't help but notice and get amazed that some competitors are on page one of Google search. With pictures shown and affiliate ID only. The link brings target directly to the website of the product owner and not a landing page of the affiliate.

Guys, do you know how it is done?

I am not sure, maybe a redirect of some kind perhaps. It would be hard to rank on page one with no content and just a picture.

There is probably a technique here which we don't know about. It will surely save us big bucks if we learn the stuff.

Perhaps our Gurus here are willing to share their thoughts.

I had a look at your above Google link but could not see any affiliate ID in any of those. May be I'm not seeing them because I'm trying to access the search page from India!

At any rate, as far as my little SEO knowledge goes no site can rank high on Google SERP for long without much value to offer (only affiliate ID, not the landing page).

So hopefully, this will be there for long and it is a matter of time before Google catches them!
