Hi, for those taking payment for gambling related websites in directories, what payment processor are you using?

Cant imagine your risking your paypal account.
    Alertpay seems a no.
Unsure yet on Moneybookers regarding the UK. (Emailed them)
    Haven't checked Egold yet.

Anyone using epassporte for gambling sites submitted? Also just a personal account?

Fill me in please in who you're using to accept payment and what country you're in, as gambling laws are different around the world.

Here in the UK its pretty much accepted but for online payment processing it begins to become more complicated.

If anyone can verify epassporte for this situation, if not please make other suggestions if you know any, thanks.

I use paypal and have had no problems. Seen as I can use my paypal account to fund my betfair account, I don't see how they have the right to bitch about charging for review of a gambling affiliate site.

My partner had his acocunt closed on paypal last week for accepting galmbling accounts, acordign to their email.
I have a biddirectory, and will accept gambling but I still dont quite know if they have any kind of authority to close your account for accepting ganbling sites.

But it says in their terms they dont allow gambling related stuff, its updated Nov 2008 too i think.

This is why i wont take the risk, i looked at epassporte but bloody hell, expensive either way to try and withdraw seen as im not in the US, and i also feel not worth searching now for a payment processor just for gambling sites for a few extra submissions.

    From Prohibited Activities
You may not use the PayPal service for activities that:

    5. # involve gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize, including, but not limited to casino games, sports betting, horse or greyhound racing, lottery tickets, other ventures that facilitate gambling, games of skill (whether or not it is legally defined as a lottery) and sweepstakes unless the operator has obtained prior approval from PayPal and the operator and customers are located exclusively in jurisdictions where such activities are permitted by law.

How about let them contact you directly and you cab setup the payment through paypal person to person payments, instead of going through the site payment script?
Its a pain.. but what the hell

Would only take a fall out with somebody though for them to then report you and would still look as bad i feel.

So many people say its ok through paypal but im not willing to risk it.

If you change the url variable in the ipn.php link id they really wouldn't know unless they ban you because the email addy was from a gambling site but that doesnt sound like it would be fair
