Hi All, I was wondering, how do you keep track of your backlinks? I mean, let's say that you build links, by using various methods, i wont explain them here, and you want to make sure that your links are up and running, not removed 2 days later? Thanks
I really only track links that I have made personally on web2.0, blogs and articles. If you are using a blog network, there is no control over whether or not your links are permanent.
Eric Gati over at 'my4hourworkweek.com' has a backlink tracking tool that is used for backlinks made directly by you on the services that I mentioned.
I do use a custom script that I payed to be developed , I am managing the content, the back links status, I am also monitoring the status of the websites, if is up and running or is down.It does let me know by email if anything goes wrong.
@east, how much did you payed for such an script? is it online, can it be used by anybody else? Thanks
