Hi, community! I have a small online business and my number of clients continue to grow, so I want to manage them. I want to know what products I've sold to each client, what a problem I had with client, some other data... So I wander how other people manage their clients. Maybe there are some programs that you use, or something else? P.S. Excel is not the answer that I'm looking for ...
I like Base camp for general tracking of projects related to client projects. http://basecamphq.com/ Quickbooks is best for your accounting needs and general day to day running your business. www.intuit.com I agree if you just use excel you will out grow your needs pretty quick. Hope this helps Rob
yes ok well the suggested links are good to check out, but quick books depending on what software your looking out is pretty expensive,
Hi Dimitry, I think you're after CRM software to manage your customers. Try SugarCRM for instance, they have a paid as well as a free options to choose from.
We use WHMCS, it's especially made for web hosting companies but can be used for other services as well.
I've been playing with Sugar CRM on my server at home a few minutes here and there for a couple of months now. It's a little more overwhelming trying to get used to it than it is dealing with my relatively small list of contacts by hand at the moment, but I think it's going to work out nice in the future.
Another option is scrobbld.com. Integrate scrobbld with your (Paypal) IPN and your customers can track their orders. This service, they also have a free plan, sends automated notifiers to buyers and when you log in you have a nice list with your customers.
