    The real competitors for your keyword will be the top 20 search results, the rest will be easy to pass up. As long as you can focus on getting to the top 20 you will have a good shot at making it to the top ten. Alot of people get discouraged because they get stuck on page 2 for a longer time then they expected, but that just means that the people on page 1 are probably alot more established and so time is on their side! But it is still very possible to pass them up and get top 10 rankings. Just stick to your SEO and keep building quality 1 way links.
