There are many routes that you can go down when starting of making money online, my first one was selling all the rubbish around my house on ebay then I moved into dropshipping before falling in love with google adsense. Adsense seems like making easy money just for having words on a website really. After I moved into clickbank, affiliate products and promotion while creating my own products. Like I said there are many routes to take, I suggest to pick one and stick at it until it generates the goal that you want and then move onto the next method.
I started doing those ptc programs. I got paid and went on to joined a lot but soon they aren't paying. they have turned into a scam so I am force to learn a new way to earn online. I was asking a lot on forums and manage to find out about SEO services.
I think for me the very beginings was if a mate wanted something online, I would buy it and he/she would give me the cash for it, I would stick my own markup on everythign which sometimes was upto 300%!

Think of something you're passionate about. List your hobbies and then explore the keywords related to your hobbies. Find out if it is any popular and if you can create a decent site around that particular topic. It is good that you're starting young. I've noticed that young people learn faster and they don't come with all that "don't believe" and "man, that suc*s" baggage. You can make a simple Wordpress blog on your own domain or even a free blogspot, do some bum-marketing (that's basically flooding article directories with your clever articles) and see if you enjoy this thing. That's probably the best thing I've read on DP for a while. Reps given! Yes indeed. Don't believe folks who say that the credit crunch has seen the web advertising declining into the abyss. Well, some niches are struggling but I, personally, haven't seen a decrease in Adsense earnings. Just the opposite. It's just that it is a struggle for a 16-y.o. to get onto Adsense. Gotta ask your parents or friends to sign up 4U. It's important you do straight and legal thing!

We started a travel website. There I lost my first 500 USD. But I got the clue what to do next time. Then I started a second travel website , but this time it was slightly profitable. And then a little bit more. Then came a photo website, slightly profitable too. And then a few more sites. But I am still not able to just make websites and have to work in my main job... .
First of all I created few blogs on free blogger where we can create blogs for free. Then drive some quality traffic to those blogs. And when I have some decent traffic, added Google adsense widgets on them

For a newbie its always best to go for gpt programs although not much money can made in this and referrals often are dead referrals(sign up and forget) but just to get taste of dollars it could be nice and free start .after that affiliate is always ultimate aim of online money maker. I uses money earned from gpt programs in affiliate as "nice backup system'.
Very first venture was an affiliate review site of online dating sites. This was back in the late 90's. I did quite well with it because I was single and doing a lot of online dating. Find something you know a lot about or are passionate about and build something around it.
