Hello everybody! Well google sandbox is something that is very much bothering to all the new website owners... Well I have accumulated few things that would help in beating sandbox phenomenon... 1. Do not target a very competetive keyword at the ver beginning of you site. If you target a very competetive keyword then just hold it back and go for less competetive keywords first and gradually going for higher ones. The main reason of sandbox is this. As google sees a site that is fairly new and wants to recieve loads of traffic but as everybody know we are here for organic search so that everybody is happy...You, google and your visitor. 2. At start just exchange links with only good quality sites. This will tell google that this is a site that is good and wants to recieve a look of the BIG G! Guys add your suggestions as well and make this a good source of 'Beating the Google Sandbox" Palce... Manish
I agree, with new sites there is not much chance to rank for a competitive term so why target it? Optimize for a non-competitive term instead until you build enough good quality links. A lot of people seem to confuse the sandbox with the shitbox - the sandbox is why new sites don't rank as highly as you would expect. The shitbox is for sites that don't rank highly because they are rubbish. When people say "Why is my year old site still sandboxed?" its usually because they were in the shitbox from the start.
