Was that from Google? Cause they have that correction link to correct bad spelling.

    Weldone anyway (unknowingly)

I capitalize on the wrong spellings all the time...often I will use very small text near the bottom of my page where I will misspell 1 or two words...I always see traffic from it...not a bad way to get yourself some traffic that you wouldn't otherwise have!

No, but let the misspelling page just sit there silent and make some money. You dont have to link to it from the home page, make a small un-noticable link from somewhere to it.

Using commonly mispelt words does that! But hey... it looks unprofessional though.. unless you're using your site to strictly earn money off adsense.

Unprofessional? NO! link with misspelled words as anchor somewhere on your site (not hidden but somewhere irrelevant - sitemap page comes to mind). You definitely want to capitalize on misspelled words and traffic from them. Every opportunity you get to increase traffic.

On the public forums on our site we get visitors looking for cunter strike source and things like that. coutner strike is a common one also. Like 5th for that.
