I would build a website on a cheap/free host and then ask people to submit some kind of content to the site (photos, forum posts, stories or whatever you decide).

Put adsense on the site and get people to advertise on it and sign up to the Co-op.

Then judge the best bit of content at the end of 6 months and the person who sent it wins the $100 dollar prize and you keep the advert income.
    :D

PS let me know if this works - I want 20%.....

    1. Domain name
    2. Hosting
    3. Nintendo's SEO'd Amazon script, or one of several other similar scripts by him and others.

Most would allow you to have a hands-off approach - no shipping, no answering large numbers of emails... etc.

Don't think you could buy much for $100, best to use a content management system so you don't have to design it yourself.

You can get a good rank site and start working on it, I think this can be a good idea but you should check thoroughly the history of that site before you buy.

Dead sites can be found in Google by doing searches and looking in the results for sites with no description/cache etc.
Some dead sites just seem to keep their ranking for months with Google. Must be their anchor text.

sitepoint forum is good place to buy. You can check the stats and history of a site through these link; http://www.silktide.com/ and http://www.archive.org/web/web.php. When you choose a site get appraisal from few forum that will give you atleast a rough idea.

I don't think your have much options here!
You don't have much technical knowledge and you don't have much investment money!
Try to start with a freehosting and put some content! I would suggest with anything you know about and have interest in!
Submit to search engines and try to get people to the site!
Finally put some advertisement in it...

It's not all about the money.

It's more about the time involved in the business. I think most ofr us started with only a few bucks or none. The first thing you need to do is to dedicate as much of your free time as you can learning as much as you can about internet biz, seo n stuff.

I spent a lot of time reading articles, blogs, putting up sites on free hosts and testing all I've read about.

NOTE: you will not find the fountain of all knoledge anywhere on the internet. You have to find it yourself.

    SO! test, test, test.

As I've said, the time you are willing to invest is more important than the money you are willing to pay.

I think you are seeking business advisor for free.

First of all stop eating and save that money also stop spending money on your other useless expenditures. That way you will have $100 for starting a new business. Then contact some good person like me and ask him what should I do with this money.

I will advice you to send it to my paypal account and just relax.

Then I will send you some kind of stupid software or ebook with a huge title "MAKING MILLIONS ON INTERNET"

:D This is what will happen to you if you keep asking people what you should do. Take your chances yourself so that in end you don't have too much ot cry of if there is a time when you need to cry. Otherwise the success is yours.

I think the best way to start on the web is to manage a forum.

Make a forum of something you know a lot about. A topic you like. Use the 100 to buy a domain, pay for hosting, and buy text link advertisement.

It is hard to make a forum grow, and you will not earn a lot, but the things you learn from managing a forum will give you the base for what is needed to succeed on the web.

Also read a lot, read, read, and read, on this and other webmaster forums.
