Personally, I hope that America makes Vick feel the pain that those dogs he murdered felt. Award Vick the maximum sentence, ban him from NFL football for life and give him a cellmate who's vicious, loves dogs and is serving a life sentence with nothing to lose. Then Vick will know what it feels like to be taken advantage of.
Ya a few hours with a pitbull hanging on his ass would end his NFL career, and make him appreciate how cruel dog fighting is.
Ummm, I'm not trying to take up for him, what he did was wrong. I consider it to be on the same level as drug using, but you don't seem to hear much about that when all these athletes continuously get caught.
I think people go alittle over board with their anger. There's plenty of other people to be hating. I heard on the news how some old man raped and killed a 10 yr old and they described how he did it. This mike vick stuff is so little compared to other things going on. He said he's sorry, he gave his speech, he wants forgiveness- so get over it. There's other people in this world that are in need of ur hate
Vick was no doubt wrong, but he's only human (as we all are). He's learning this life-lesson the hard way, but it's his lesson to learn, and not yours to teach. The dogs were taken advantage of for profit, and then killed once they couldn't use them any more. Sounds a lot like what the people who serve us chicken, cows and fish do daily, doesn't it?
That's exactly what I'd love to see happen. Put him in a cage w/ the very dogs he's trained to fight and let them tear his @$$ to pieces!!!!!!
Six month jail sentence, big fine, and a restraining order that kept him from owning dogs. I think that would be enough.
Wow, I watched a program recently, about these animal police and they found a dog dead, with a brick next to it covered in blood, and a bullet wound that went through it's jaw and into it's leg. Cruel, cruel people .
I think he should be rubbed down with a raw sirloin steak and then thrown into a pit full of vicious pit bulls.
wow thats pretty vicious there..though I would like to see one of his dogs treat him like he treated them for those years
