How would you do this? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=56987 Or is that a picture next to the ad with the same bg color?
It's a picture next to the ad with the same bg color. According to canadianbacon, putting that border around the picture is enough to show that it's not part of the google ad.
Very simple. You prepare the picture by adding a white background to it. Then you set up the ad so it has white background. After that you put them both within a table with a border and that's it.That picture IS NOT part of the ad.
And in a few forums they say it increases click ratio by 30-50%, so well worth doing, just make sure you don't break any rules when doing it, a border should be fine, try adding 3-4 images above the big 728 X 90 add, in text, have about a 15 pixel gap, and seprate borders, works a treat!
