How would you monetize this site?

Hello.

I have a website (myfreetld.com) and I am having a hard time trying to think of ways to monetize it so that I can provide the user a free domain name.

I've tried the voucher thing, I've tried using ShiftCode but that is more geared toward GPT.

I just want to be able to provide free domain names and keep the site running.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How about some attractive images to click advertising related affiliate products,
Or Banners?

 

What about CPA offers? Or advertising web hosting as an affiliate? People looking for domains might also be looking for hosting?

 

First share your thoughts with some hosting company and say you will direct the users to their page for hosting.
If they agree, start advertising their page and ask your users to purchase hosting from them or make it mandatory to purchase hosting from your preferred hosting in return for free Domain.

 

Looks like you already have adsense, all you need now is some affiliate links and some direct ad space

 

I would like to do CPA but I want a cleaner more integrated system than CPALEAD or AdWorkMedia.

I was considering using several hosting affiliates and offering a free domain for sign ups, the only issue then is tracking the sign up.

You can try to use adsense for now. Even if it costs you at first you can't expect profit with a young website and you need to spend money or work hard or both and build up your user base up to a point where it you can start making profit.

 

Two things...

1. your site loaded very slowly / a lot of users won't wait that long for a page to load...
2. there were so many ads that i would never try to accumulate points on your site because the page seems like a scam...

 

Go the traditional route...affiliate links perhaps, or sell that bad boy on flippa...

 

But how do I build up and maintain the user base?

I was thinking of going with a raffle style site.

Or maybe I can make it a forum and offer domain names to active members and stuff like that.

For building up the user base, contests are great but useful if your first prize is around ~$500-1000. You can try paying some people to sign up it won't cost a lot for just signing up and if you website looks active enough that can encourage others to sign up. Making a forum with those as rewards could work as forums have huge potential, and in that case you will want to look for paid posters.

 

Only put some cpa banners and also if you want some pup-up and pup-under!
