On a site that I am involved with we have an article that received 2034 unique visitors in March and I would like some ideas on how best to monetize this. All of the traffic is organic.

I don't want to reveal the article URL because I believe it is quite niche and think others might try and grabs ome of this traffic if they knew what it was.

But I can tell you that is is based around the motorbike niche. It involves the use of your motorbike and has some loose links with the purchase of a motorbike.

At the moment the article has an MPU imbedded into it, while the page also has banners & skies plus Yahoo Publisher links at the bottom.

The page has a PR of 4.

How would you go about making money from this article?

Does the company who published the article also sell products in the niche? If so, you might add links to the relevant words in the article and go to the catalog page with the product. I would open the link in a new window so they can see the item but at the same time carry on with the article.

Also if your yahoo links are at the bottom, I would consider moving them to a better spot within the body of the article BUT I would only do that if they do not compete with the company's line of product. I mean if the company is there to sell its own items, then you don't want the reader going away from the site.

A square text ad (like adsense's 250x250 or 336x280) floating to the bottom right/left of your text could do wonders imo.

Thanks guys, I'll probably try affiliate stuff if I can, with some nice links worked into the content.
