premium sale is the only way to go. dont rely on on ads or any others. they always fiind a way to cut you away when u start making good money from ads
I constantly see a shit ton of ads on file hosts. Premium will give you money, especially if you restrict free users downloads a lot. If your site is no good people won't waste time with it though.
see that shit ton depends which ads program you have seen of. search around u will get some good ones. i recommend black label ads which are sister of adbrite. hope this helps
It really depends on the amount of traffic you get. I know that premium services would work - but i think you have to get a TON of traffic. It also depends on your niche. If most of your customers are businesses, then premium memberships would work with less traffic. If most of your traffic is sharing files for illegal downloads - then good luck.
