How would you market this?

Hey guys, I'm a diretor/cinematographer, photographer, and editor. I specialize in cinematic commercials/promotional videos. Up until this point in time my gigs have come from word of mouth - But work is becoming more and more slow.
I've always been more of the "inventor" type, rather than the "marketer" type, if you know what I mean. My natural place is on location with a camera and a clipboard or sitting in the editing room making the real magic happen. I'd like to take it all to the next level and have realized that proper marketing needs to take place... However, I can't find anyone willing to help me with successful/effective marketing (they just want me to buy their book on how to make money by selling books about making money!) so I feel the need to put my marketing "boots" on and head out to the battlefield myself... But i don't want to go unprepared.
