Hey joebert, Do you know anywhere to go to maybe hire someone that knows how to make a firefox extension?

 

my advice is to make a youtube account,

then purchase some content free videos on here try and gain at least 500.

then upload the 500 videos to you tube and in each title and description have your sites URL.

have a statement saying more videos like this found at .......

Then I would use social bookmarking to add pages from your site.

throw links on Digg, Furl, del.icio.us and also to stumble ...

Try and set up a viral style promo method going as well..

 

connections, I was thinking of that, but they only ones i would be able to get is like funny videos, and i dont do those type of videos on my site

 

How about taking all of these suggested ideas and using them? A lot of work, but it'll be worth it.

 

I saw a few people in the BST forum a week or so ago responding to mechos request for an imageshack extension clone.
You might start with asking them who they finally decided to go with, if anyone.

I bid the job but didn't get it, so I assume there's someone better/cheaper with Firefox extensions than I around here somewhere.

You COULD just spend 10 minutes browsing this forum and you'll find everything you need to know rather than paying out $50 for something someone just repeats.

I suggest spending the $50 on a marketing campaign rather than on someone to tell you to do a marketing campaign... Just seems like you're either scamming or wasting your money, and I don't approve of either.
