http://www.sivatar.com By marketing myself? Buying adverstisements? Google AdWords? Maybe targeted sites for ads? Any help would be great. Thank you.
I was going to ask how this works, but then I read your FAQ so no need to ask that anymore. I think it's a nice idea, but take for example this forum. I can already click on your avatar but that just takes me to your profile. And that might be the case with many more forums. But still it's a good concept. I'm wondering though, how are you monetizing this? Or is this a free service you're providing? greetz, jobic
Nice site. I like the "Sivatar is currently serving 64,65,66 random websites from around the globe. Will yours be next?"
Hey good question. Sivatar is a completely free service. My idea is to build a solid network/community and sell advertisement space to businesses/Sivatar members in the future.
Well if it's a free service why not use freebiesites. Just type it into google. "Freebie" You know what I mean You can get a good amount of traffic going that way. Maybe you should start using "web2.0" sites to promote your site as well. Buying ads at this stage is, in my opinion, not advisable. I always try to work without out of pocket expenses. If this was a paid service, I'd say: Go to different sites, asking them for free advertising space and in return they get to use your service for free. A free sivatar. But since they're already free. You might want to push this idea to affiliate marketers too. "conceiling" an affiliate link in their sivatar. Hah Hope this helps, even if it's just a little bit greetz, jobic
That's some great advice there. I agree that (at first at least) I should probably avoid expenses. I think right now I'll focus on solidfying the network and marketing to various websites. Thank you.
I used your idea for my site. Yeah, I stole it. I'm passing it, along with your URL to my readers and present customers as payment. It's the little ideas like that can make a difference. Thanks, Vern, and good luck with your site. It's pretty cool.
