Heres what I Suggest. 1. SEO 2. Link Build with keyword as anchor text 3. Yahoo answers 4. Find a forum related to your keywords and have your site in your sig I KNOW this would easily start to pull 50 in a day if you bother to implement the ideas.
Daily content building and keep those links coming everyday. 50 visitors a day isn't enough to make some sale a day.
trust on google only. it will bring organic traffic. just keep on adding unique content. you will soon get good traffic. I have a blog which is getting around 200 uniques per day. I did no promtion at all. just adding content ... that's it.
I disagree if you use the right strategies when entering social media marketing and when setting up your stumble upon account as well as adding friends on stumble upon I think they can convert quite well. My bounce rate since using social media marketing has fell more and now lies at around 2.5% bounce rate. The top traffic I receive is from reffering websites second being search engines. Take a look 2.7% bounce rate
Add lots of useful (and unique) content to your site.Build links by commenting on blogs, participating in forums and so on.The traffic will increase with time.
I don't think I noticed anyone else that said this, but you could also market and giveaway a report with free giveaway rights for other marketers. Spend some time on the page design, ebook cover, etc... so they can add it to their offers, and then you'd get viral traffic for a long time as long as the content was something that would always help in your niche. e.g., in the IM niche, a free traffic generation ebook would always be valuable if your method didn't ever quit.
Use the free word tracker tool to see what hot keywords are in your market. Try adding some of the less competitive keywords to your titles and content, just don't over do it. This will definitely get you more traffic, however, SEO takes time, for the most part, there is no "overnight fix" unless you are willing to pay big bucks. If you build it (A well optimized website) They will come.....LOL...
Write SEO articles and submit them to article directories. Do this consistently. Also give social bookmarking a try.
I think some of you guys don't get it... it's not the quantity of traffic it's the quality that matters.
I went from about 10 visitors a day and then got some Stumble traffic that peaked at over 5k, now it averages 1k daily uniques because of stumble. I think what you're saying is that the Stumble crowd is more tech savvy so they are less likely to click on ads. This may be true, but a lot of them own blogs and belong to other networks and reblog and spread your site to other areas.
Use Feedburner with PingShot, you'll get that much traffic easily if you post often. Especially if you use photos. You can easily get 50 visits per day from Google Images alone if you're using the alt attribute.
