It is illegal to remove the watermarks from pictures. There are many sources of royalty-free images in the web. Just do a search on the topic.
Does it honestly matter? What do you want the image for? Are you re-selling it? ask yourself some questions, then decide if you NEED to remove a water mark.
yes, you could buy it to remove it. but on the other hand you could use clone stamp in PS and called a magnificent art thief!
If you try to remove it, you are committing a crime called copyright infringement. Not to mention your stealing someones bread & Butter. You must try something new to help out. Thanks !
yup!The watermark is there for a reason- to prevent stealing the image. Trying to circumvent the watermark is copyright infringement. You don't remove it...you pay for the image.
How would i remove a watermark from a picture .. if I think hard, but do not know any other program''''' Listen Read phonetically
I too need to remove a watermark from a photo, although my reasons and circumstances are very different. In September there was an explosion which resulted in the complete destruction of our home, We lost everything including wedding pictures and other personal stuff. www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/news/local/croydonnews/8410203.Man_arrested_after_house_explosion_forces_families_to_flee/ I have included the newspaper story for any who feel Im trying it on. I would like to remove a watermark from a school photo sample, I already purchased the photo's but the were lost in the fire. The photo Im trying to recover is my daughters first school picture, I found the original order form at my mother-in-laws, tried contacting the photo company but they are no longer operating (The picture is a few years old) As many can appreciate, this is of sentimental value to us and would love to be able to replace it. I have seen many say about buying the photo etc but this isnt an option as the photographers are no longer operating. I bought the photos originally and would pay again but as the company no longer exists this, alas, cannot be done. I have the proof for the picture, having found it in a box at the Mother-in-Laws but, obviously it is watermarked and 3 inches by 2.5 inches in size. It is only this photo I need to replace, it is my daughters first school pic and of great sentimental value to my wife and myself. The Wedding photos have been replaced as we used a photographer who was just starting out and in return for a big reduction in the cost of the pics we let him use them in his portfolio and as a result were very easy to replace. Any thoughts and ideas will be appreciated, Thanks for taking the time to read
I`m sorry for what happened to you. Since it is of great sentimental value you should pay a professional for a good job or if you have experience using the Patch tool and Clone Stamp tool should take you somewhere. Good luck.
He should be banned from DP for asking this. These are the type of idiots who run away with other peoples stuff leaving them starving.
