how would i move a domain if i could not use the new transfer codes?

My registrar is old and sucks and don't reply to any of my contacts. When i first picked them back in 2003, they were good and cheap. Now times have moved on and they have not updated their system.

I can lock and unlock my domains, but i can't get transfer codes that big registrars (like Godaddy) need for me to move.

Does anyone know of a registrar that still uses the old system of moving domains (where you just unlock it and get an email) ?

You should get your Domain Secret or Authorization Code from your current registrar. This should be available within the Domain Name Management Interface provided by your Registrar. What is your current registrar?

xReg.co.uk, they are an old registrar who don't have 'Domain Secret or Authorization Code' yet :/

Yes, i am sure. That feature is a lie and does not exist.

I discovered after much research that xReg is a reseller of another company, Enom. I contacted Enom and they were happy to send me the transfer codes :)
