My registrar is old and sucks and don't reply to any of my contacts. When i first picked them back in 2003, they were good and cheap. Now times have moved on and they have not updated their system. I can lock and unlock my domains, but i can't get transfer codes that big registrars (like Godaddy) need for me to move. Does anyone know of a registrar that still uses the old system of moving domains (where you just unlock it and get an email) ?
You should get your Domain Secret or Authorization Code from your current registrar. This should be available within the Domain Name Management Interface provided by your Registrar. What is your current registrar?
Control Panel Functionality Modify Whois Contacts Nominet Whois Opt-Out for Individuals DNS Services (zone file & name server hosting) Full unrestricted zone file access; CNAME A MX PTR NS SOA records. Advanced Web Forwarding /w subdomains & meta-tags Supports framed forwarding & HTTP redirect TransferLock Protection (prevents unauthorised hijacks) Ownership transfers Park here or host elsewhere IPS Tag release for transfers away Access to domain authorisation code Register and manage your own name servers ------------------------------------------------------------------ Dayon, Are you sure? Cause I read this from their feature list.
Yes, i am sure. That feature is a lie and does not exist. I discovered after much research that xReg is a reseller of another company, Enom. I contacted Enom and they were happy to send me the transfer codes
