How would I go about this correctly

    Ok, so I am talking about getting a website that allows people to come on and sell there stuff in addition to major companys. I was wondering how I would go about doing this correctly and what would be involved of setting it up.

    You need a auction script.
    I would suggest you not use the premade script instead use a coded script from scratch.
    Other than that you need SSL to get more user.

    Has anybody heard of zlio.net? Well this is the closest thing to what I want to do, I want people to be able to sell there own stuff also as well as have vendors sell there stuff. I don't want an auction, at least to start with.
