How Would I Go About Marketing A PhpBB Host?

    Hello,

    I've just started a PhpBB host with a domain I bought before xmas. It gained PR2 so I decided to put a actual host on it.

    Obviously it needs a bit more work. But Am just curious of how I would go about marketing it to the world of the internet, Where and how?

    I think you need to get your own domain name first.

    If it were me...

    I'd advertise on high traffic phpBB forums. Don't advertise your service though. Create a free report about how people can make money, have more friends, whatever... if they have their own forum. Explain how to set one up, how to make it look good, etc. Make it a great report, and within the report, promote your service. :)

    I have many ideas, but the main one is do not reinvent the bicycle and find some working model of phpbb host, learn what they do to earn the money, try to learn how do they work with these who run forum, become one of them to fill this process.
