How would I go about creating a proposal for a client?

I've talked with a client regarding a new website and he would like me to email him a proposal which includes every development aspect, what will be included, the price of the entire project, future relations, etc.

Does anyone have a sample one I could look at? Perhaps a template even?

    Thanks.

sounds like you need a business plan. you can start by reading http:/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_plan (add a slash)

keep in mind that you need to protect proprietary ideas and stuff from being included in your business plan if you would concerned that the client will run for the hills with it leaving you high and dry.

I just need an example of a proposal, something similar to what other web & graphic design companies use

sort of like a resume template

Well just make a brief statement on your approach to make the website successful and how you want to go about building it. I’m not sure exactly where you can find such templates that gives you everything but it’s not really hard writing one of your own. Don’t forget to attach an example of your previous work
