I just finished writing my ebook and am trying to figure out how in gonna go about selling it. Do you think that a mini site would be the best way? If so how could I make one? If not, what would be the best way to sell my ebook? Thanks
You'll probably need at least a single "squeeze" page with a link to order the product if you are looking to promote the book yourself. If you wanted to go up a level you could have a blog type site based around your product. Wordpress is an easy blog type system to install on your domain and has plenty of good plugins for SEO. The biggest problem is getting traffic and that can depend on what your eBook is about. If your site is well optimised for the search engines and you target the right keywords you can get some good traffic quickly but usually SEO takes time to get you where you want to be. If this is a long term good earner then it might be worth the investment in time. You could use adwords to get easy, quick traffic to your page but this can be costly if not done right. You could participate in related forums and put a link to your page in your signiture. Make sure you contribute good stuff though so that people know you eBook must be good You could stick it on ClickBank and get affiliates to do all the promotion, this means you can do very little but it also means for every sale they put through you will only get small percentage (usually 75% to the affiliate, 25% to you minus any fees). There also a lot of products on ClickBank so getting picked up by an affiliate isn't always easy. There are lots of other ways as well such as YouTube, Twitter, FaceBook, press releases, article submission... Good luck with the eBook!

If you wanted to sell an eBook, I'd probably want to go to a website; you won't find any nice, high-quality web templates for that, so I'd probably call in someone custom (insert shameless plug here). Otherwise, sell it on Amazon or on here, and probably TalkFreelance as well.

Buy a domain name and a hosting package.Get a simple html template or install wordpress CMS. Make a good description of your product. Don't forget to integrate payment methods(e.g Paypal). Promote your newly founded site on ebay, specialized forums, classifieds sites etc. If you have a quality ebook and do this steps you will certainly sell alot. good luck!
