How would I get a zip code search feature such as this site?

    Right side. You enter your zip code and it finds schools surrounded that area. Then forms to enter some basic information and sign up for information/newsletter.

    Would it be possible to have it implemented into wordpress?

    I can't drops link yet, but if you go search Wordpress Plugins you'll find plenty of zip code based search plugins
