how would I do this?

Okay, this involved video editing... which I've pretty much never done.

    What I want:

Say you record a group of people on a building or hill in sunset. You can still see their faces but they're mostly silhouettes.

Now, you want to make the sun set in "fast forward" - but you want the people to move and talk at a normal speed.

how would one go about doing this, and how difficult would it be?

    Thanks.

Spider, you could so this if you use a green screen. Basically record two seperate videos, one of the people behind a green screen and the other of the sky.

You'd want the sky video to be longer than the people video so that you can "speed" it up. Import the two into seperate tracks, edit, viola.

It's not that difficult to do.

I use Sony Vegas to edit my videos, but there are other programs that can do the same. So long as they allow one to "speed" up the frames, and have more than one track.

Thanks, that helps. How would I go about doing this? I can't find much information or tutorials on how to actually use or set up a green room.

    Thanks!
