    Hey all,

First of all, I hope this is the right forum for the question ... it seemed so ...

I am wondering how sites / blogs determine the price (monthly or weekly) for an ad wich is placed on their site. I have heard about prices ranging from $150 up to $1250 ... But what are the criteria wich are involved (except ofcourse the usual visitor count..)..

    Grts..

In my experience it will always depend on the position and the number of UNIQUE visitors you get each day.

    Usual metrics are:
    - PR of the page
    - subject of the page
    - amount of visitors
    - age of the site

To get 150 dollars a month for one link you need a high quality, high pr, high visitor-number site.

The problem with the textlinkads calculator is that it doesnt take into consideration the amount of traffic of your website - all it looks at is PR, no. of ads on your page, and placement of the ad.
