how would i add video clips to my site

i have a video clip i want to host on my site. How would i add it, so it's viewable to the public?

Anyone?

 

ok i've uploaded the file, it's an rm extention...for streaming.

but when i click it, it downloads the file. How do i make it stream?

I added it to my "www" folder, and made sure i had the right extension "rm"

 

Don't you need a real-media server to server .rm files in a streaming format?

I know that .avi and .wmv you can stream directly from a download without any third party server software, but I thoguht that .rm required something server-side to make it work right.
