How would go about it?

I realise this may seem a very n00bish question, however bear with me.

Lets say you set up a website and want it to be the next Kelkoo or Google Shopping site, so a search engine for products.

How do you go about getting the shops on board so you can interface with their products? XML feeds or however it comes so you can have the results displayed on your site?

    Who would you contact ?

As you can tell from this post I am not at the stage where I should contact them, just getting ideas together.

Hey dude.. There are lots of affiliate sites that you can use feeds from.
For example im trying out something similar on cosmeticsnow.co.uk..
Its using a feed from www.buy.at.

I can help you more offline with the "engine" that pulls from feeds.. It would let you setup a comparison site..
Let me know if you want any more assistance :)

In order to grab all the feed from the desired site.
You need a code to be embeded to the site so that you can grab the feed.
If you don't have any programming skill, you should hire a coder to code it for you.
