How will this effect my keywords (SERP's)?

I bought a domain name which has very good rankings for certain keywords in google. Problem is that the website was not included (deleted), so I'll have to build a new website on it.

How will this effect my keyword rankings (SERP's)? Now and in the future?

It won't as long as the new page is optimized for the same keywords.

You get a lot of benefits from having an old domain name. Since it's ranking, you don't have to worry too much about building backlinks. I'm jealous :)

Yes just optimize your new website for the keywords. Its going to take some time to get indexed however. But all the backlinks for the keywords should be working still as pointed out above

If you have old domain for your site than you directly get the backlinks for your site but main thing is that if your old domain backlinks are with keywords than you need to add those keywords in your site which will help to maintain your backlinks else i wonder it may consider as spamming.
