Today I read a post of how Google will be filtering results for people using it when logged in or when not logged in. How will this affect our search results? I think it has more to do with the analyses and less with the rankings, any help will be appreciated. How will the latest Google’s search filter update affect SEO?

This has already been happening. You will see different results in the Search engines if you are logged in and you would see different search results if ou are logged out. Google makes a log of the sites that you frequently visit when you are logged in and hence those sites have a greater priority against your account.

They've been doing this for a while I think, its only now that ramping it up even more.
I've read a few good blog posts on the subject recently and it looks like using social sharing tools like +1, like and tweet this are going to be having a LOT bigger effect on searches.
