How will I know if a domain name is banned in Google search engine?

I bought a domain and based on the history it is an expired domain.. Google is not indexing that domain. Everytime I will type the domain url on google search box all I can see is all banklinks that I made including backlink here from digitalpoint. But I was able to put a adsense on that domain. I'm just wondering that untill now it is not index yet.

Is there a way to know if is it banned in Google or not?

    Thanks!

by "site" searching at Google. if the result displays nothing, then it might be banned already.

It was owned before by a Chinese company and I have this on my mind that maybe the owner of the domain before asked google to remove the domain from search result since Google is banned in China(AFAIK) and I don't know how will I able know that kind of information.

    There are 2 reasons:
    1. The site is banned by Google
    2. Your content is not unique and hence cannot be indexed.

Try using Google webmaster tools for detailed results.

I do not know anyway to check if a domain has been banned. Like some other said, if the site is not in the index, then it might have been banned, but that is not a guarantee. Google may take off some sites from its index if it finds not value in these websites.

If you bought the domain and you want to show AdSense on it, I suggest that you contact AdSense support stating your problem. I assume someone will do the verification.

Well if you confirm that the site is indeed banned and thus not indexed in Google, you may write to Google to remove the ban - as the ownership has changed.
Before you do that though, search using domain name if it was ever listed for creating spam / or warez hosting and similiar activities that violate Google's TOS.
