Can someone please clarify this -

When i comment on a blog i fill the information, such as my name,my web site's address, email id and comment.

For example, if i put my name as waqyum, and my website address as visitusa.com,
after submitting the comment,my name will work as anchor text for my website address. That means if i will click on waqyum i will be redirected to visitusa.com.

Now, am i going to get the backlink when someone will click on my name or Google will automatically give me backlink for posting comment?

It depends on the blog. If it is a nofollow commenting blog, then you don't get anything out of it. If it is a dofollow blog, then you would want to enter your name as VisitUSA instead of Waqyum.

Sorry forgot to answer your main question. You get the backlink because the other site is "linked" to your site. A visitor does not have to click on the link. Google just has to see the link as being pointed towards your site. Hence the dofollow need.

Either way blog commenting does literally nothing for your PR. I would more look at the traffic side of it as you can gain traffic by making quality comments.

yes, you will get a backlink, whether dofollow or nofollow as some search engines still count nofollow links. but to get advantage of the backlink, you need to use an anchor text instead of your name to that it helps you in SERP ranking. if you are targetting the keyword "healthy Diet" for example, then instead of using your name, use "healthy Diet" in the name field which will give you an anchor text backlink and you will rank well for that ter depending on how many backlinks you have with the anchor text. only drawback is that some blog owners might think you are promoting a commercial site and no approve your comment but worth a try. make sure if you have a family friendly site. pharmacy and casino related terms will never see the light of the day if the comments are moderated

I'm doing some experiment with a new blog last month, by comment to 100 do follow blog I already have 137 backlinks for that new blog. That's great since my traffic also increase rapidly. So, I'll asked my friend to continue with blog commenting on no follow blog also.

I think you are right. If you want to earn good backlinks form blog commenting then you must give the name which is related to your site and it will be useul for gaining quality backlinks weather it is dofollow or nofollow.

Google will give you the backlink as long as the link is do follow. Here is a do follow directory>> http://www.dofollowblogs.com/index.php?c=0 and here is a couple of do follow blog search engines>>
    http://www.seopositions.net/dofollow/
    http://advancedseo.nickopedia.com/2009/05/04/dofollow-blog-search-engine/

Also do not keyword your name to get thet anchor text it is considered spamming. If you want your comment to actually be published use your name @ keywords I comment like this Kris @ Make Money Free or Kris @ Make Money Online. This way you actually leave your name and tell the blogger what site your from instead of just spamming the name box. Also leave a nice long comment not just good post or good job. Comment something like I think... or your are right because... and leave a good comment. If you spam these blogs your comments will never see the light of day.
